2026 Beers for Brains

About The Fundraiser

Come enjoy some beer, food and live music on Sunday, July 26th from 3-7pm at Chilly Water Brewing in Indianapolis. A portion of the event day beer sales and 100% of donations made through this website will go to the National Brain Tumor Society in honor of patient and advocate, Adam Hayden.

Adam lived with a terminal brain tumor diagnosis, glioblastoma for 9 1/2 years after diagnosis. He spent much of that time working tirelessly to advocate for others with brain tumors and spoke eloquently at many events over the years, educating patients, caregivers, researchers, physicians, social workers and more about the unique challenges of living with a brain cancer diagnosis. Adam passed away at the young age of 43 on December 20, 2025. This event is hosted by his surviving wife, Whitney, and her brother Chad Roehling alongside the owners of Chilly Water.

Come when you want, stay as long as you like. There is no ticket required to enter. There will be live music throughout the event by friends of Adam, Jay Elliott and Ben Tatum. Additional donation opportunities will be available to honor Adam through NBTS. We will also have T-shirts available for purchase that were Adam's design idea before his passing. Free street parking is located around Chilly Water.

Time: 3-7pm
Cost: No ticket required to enter.
